Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Local Lead X, LocalLeadX.com, and related websites, dashboards, APIs, software, data, exports, tools, services, and documentation. By creating an account, accessing the site, using the app, using the API, buying credits, or downloading data, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Local Lead X is a lead generation, local business search, enrichment, CSV export, and API gateway platform. The service may use third-party data tools, third-party APIs, hosting providers, enrichment providers, and other infrastructure to process user requests and return local business lead data.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including API usage, credit usage, exports, team activity, and compliance with these Terms. We may refuse, suspend, limit, or terminate accounts at our discretion, including for fraud, abuse, legal risk, nonpayment, security concerns, or violation of these Terms.

3. Credits, Plans, and Payments

The free signup offer provides 25 one-time promotional credits to eligible first-time users after email verification, with no card required. Only one bonus is allowed per person and email inbox, including Gmail alias variations. Repeated claims or shared browser or network activity may hold the bonus for review without preventing an otherwise valid account from buying credits. You can request review through our contact form. We may withhold or revoke promotional credits for duplicate claims or abuse. Free usage has service-wide daily limits; reaching a limit pauses new free runs while preserving the remaining balance. Paid subscription credits, then purchased one-time credits, are used before promotional credits, and fully paid runs do not use the free allowance. Promotion limits and availability may change; account credits do not renew as part of this free offer.

Local Lead X may operate using credits, subscriptions, one-time purchases, usage-based fees, or other pricing models. Credits may be consumed when a run is submitted, accepted, processed, enriched, exported, or otherwise handled by the system. Different features may cost different amounts of credits. For example, email enrichment and social/contact enrichment may cost more than basic lead scraping because they may require additional provider runs, crawling, processing, or compute.

Credits are not cash, do not accrue interest, and are not transferable. Subject to this section, we will refund the unused portion of a paid one-time credit pack when you request it within 30 calendar days of your initial Local Lead X signup. The refund is calculated using the price paid per credit in that pack; credits already used, promotional credits, subscription credits, and credits affected by fraud, abuse, billing failure, chargeback, system error, or a violation of these Terms are not refundable. Contact us through the privacy request form and select “Other” to request a refund.

Subscriptions may be canceled at any time through the customer billing portal. Cancellation stops the next renewal; access and subscription credits remain available through the already-paid billing period. Subscription fees are not prorated or refundable after a billing period begins, except where required by law.

4. User Requests and Internal Data Rights

When you use Local Lead X to request, process, enrich, or export business lead data, you receive the output made available to your account for that run. Local Lead X may also store, retain, normalize, enrich, deduplicate, analyze, and use business-data records in its internal database for product operations, quality, security, analytics, and future features, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

You do not receive exclusive rights to business lead data collected through Local Lead X unless a separate written agreement expressly grants exclusivity. Publicly available business information and normalized lead records may be collected from multiple sources and may appear in more than one customer's results.

5. Customer Data and Confidentiality

Your account credentials, private billing information, and non-public account administration information are handled as private account information. Your search history, credit ledger, run ownership, and exports are not made publicly available to other users through normal product functionality. However, we may use internal logs and account information for operations, support, abuse prevention, legal compliance, analytics, billing, administration, and enforcement.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Local Lead X to violate laws, infringe rights, send unlawful spam, make unlawful calls or texts, harass people, process prohibited categories of data, bypass security controls, overload systems, reverse engineer the service, resell access without authorization, share API keys, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with third-party platforms, or use the service for deceptive, fraudulent, discriminatory, harmful, or abusive activity.

You are responsible for your use of exported data, including compliance with CAN-SPAM, TCPA, telemarketing and do-not-call rules, state privacy and consumer-protection laws, email-platform rules, opt-out and suppression obligations, data-broker obligations, and any laws that apply to your business, audience, and location. Local Lead X does not send customers' outreach messages, obtain marketing consent on a customer's behalf, or determine whether a particular lead may legally be contacted.

7. Scraping, Enrichment, and Third-Party Providers

Local Lead X may depend on third-party services, APIs, websites, datasets, proxies, processors, or platforms. We do not control every source, provider, website, search result, or enrichment method. Results may be incomplete, outdated, duplicated, inaccurate, unavailable, delayed, blocked, rate-limited, or changed by third parties.

We may change providers, enrichment methods, credit pricing, limits, available fields, or export formats at any time. We do not guarantee that any specific website, source, platform, email, social profile, pixel signal, business listing, or field will be available.

8. API Gateway

If you use our API, you are responsible for keeping API keys confidential and for all requests made with your keys. We may impose rate limits, credit limits, feature limits, abuse controls, logging, monitoring, throttling, or suspensions. You may not present Local Lead X data or API access in a misleading way, remove required notices, or use the API to create a competing service without written permission.

9. Data Accuracy and No Guarantees

Lead data is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, legality for your specific use case, deliverability, conversion rates, revenue, ad spend signals, email validity, social profile ownership, phone number accuracy, or that a business is open, active, qualified, or interested in your offer.

10. Intellectual Property

Local Lead X, LocalLeadX.com, the site design, software, workflows, documentation, branding, logos, dashboards, databases, compilations, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property and other laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your lawful business purposes.

11. User Content and Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, ideas, requests, or improvements, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation. You represent that any information you submit to the service is accurate and that you have the rights and authority needed to submit and use it.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain information. By using Local Lead X, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.

13. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Local Lead X is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, security, or uninterrupted operation.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, business, revenue, or opportunities. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to Local Lead X for the service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or $100 if no amount was paid.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Local Lead X, its owners, affiliates, contractors, providers, licensors, and agents from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, penalties, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the service, exported data, API usage, marketing activity, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or infringement of third-party rights.

16. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, throttle, or terminate access to the service at any time if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, failed to pay, abused credits, exceeded rate or run limits, caused operational issues, triggered legal concerns, or used the service in a harmful way. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. Certain provisions, including payment obligations, data rights, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and dispute terms, survive termination.

17. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the service, features, pricing, credits, providers, data fields, API behavior, documentation, and these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where Local Lead X is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction unless a separate written agreement states otherwise. You and Local Lead X waive the right to participate in class actions to the maximum extent permitted by law.
