This Privacy Policy explains how Local Lead X, LocalLeadX.com, and related services, applications, dashboards, APIs, and websites collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information. By using Local Lead X, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. What Local Lead X Does

Local Lead X helps users find local businesses, enrich available business-contact details, and export results. The service uses third-party data providers, search tools, enrichment tools, APIs, processors, hosting providers, payment processors, and infrastructure services to operate the platform.

When a user runs a search, Local Lead X may collect and store the business lead data returned from that search in an internal database for deduplication, quality control, security, compliance, market coverage, and product improvement.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

We may collect your name, email address, password hash, account role, account status, credit balance, billing information, support messages, preferences, and authentication/session information.

Free Prospecting Kit Requests

When you request a free kit or sample, we collect your name, email, requested niche and city, service description, referral source, confirmation status, consent choices, review notes, delivery records, and follow-up status. We use these to confirm and fulfill your request, manage limited beta capacity, and prevent abuse. Optional tips and beta offers require a separate opt-in; requesting the kit alone does not subscribe you to marketing. You can unsubscribe through the preference link in those emails without cancelling your sample request. Sample download links expire after 30 days; this does not automatically delete the underlying request or consent record. Contact us through the privacy request form to request access, correction, or deletion.

Search, Run, and Usage Information

We may collect information about searches and jobs you run, including business category, location, requested lead count, enrichment options, credit usage, run status, export status, timestamps, API usage, logs, device/browser information, IP address, and security events.

Your personal account history is used for your account, billing, support, abuse prevention, compliance, and administration. We do not make one customer’s personal account history publicly available to other customers.

Collected Business Lead Data

We may collect, store, enrich, normalize, deduplicate, and retain business lead data generated through the platform, including business name, category, phone number, website, domain, physical address, city, state, postal code, country, source URLs, ratings, review counts, place identifiers, publicly available business emails, public social-profile URLs, and advertising/tag signals. Sources may include public business websites and listings, user-submitted search criteria, and permitted third-party providers.

Payment Information

If we offer paid plans or credit purchases, payment information may be processed by a third-party payment processor. We generally do not store full payment card numbers on our own servers.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Optional Google Analytics is used only after you choose Allow analytics on the homepage. It measures homepage visits and selected button clicks using analytics cookies; it does not determine whether your free account was created. We do not send account identifiers, email addresses, form contents, verification links, or raw campaign query strings in these events. Pages opened with query strings or URL fragments are excluded from this initial analytics setup. You can decline or withdraw through Analytics choices on the homepage without affecting your account. Withdrawing stops further collection and clears this setup's analytics cookies; it does not remove data already collected. Your analytics choice and these cookies expire after 60 days. Google Analytics user/event retention is configured separately; our initial setting is two months, with retention reset on new activity disabled.

We may use cookies, local storage, session storage, pixels, log files, and similar technologies to keep users logged in, secure the service, remember preferences, measure performance, analyze traffic, and improve the product.

To prevent repeated free-credit claims, we use a signed, random browser cookie that lasts 30 days, and keyed hashes of that identifier and your network address (an IPv6 network prefix where applicable). Promotion-specific browser and network hashes are cleared after 31 days as account transactions run. They help flag claims for review; a shared network does not by itself establish abuse. We also retain a keyed hash of your normalized email inbox with the bonus history to prevent repeated claims, including Gmail alias variations. Promotion reservations are retained for up to 90 days, and credit and administrator review records are retained for accounting and abuse prevention under our retention policy. These controls do not use hardware or canvas fingerprinting. Other operational logs follow the retention practices described in this policy. 3. How We Use Information

We use information to provide, operate, secure, maintain, and improve Local Lead X; process account registration and login; manage credits and subscriptions; run data and enrichment jobs; generate downloads; provide API access; prevent fraud, spam, scraping abuse, credential misuse, or security incidents; troubleshoot issues; communicate with users; comply with legal obligations; enforce our Terms; and maintain our internal business-data records.

4. Internal Lead Database

Business lead data collected through Local Lead X may be retained in our internal database, including when the search was requested by a user. The database may combine results across runs, sources, providers, and enrichment methods for deduplication, quality scoring, analytics, and future Local Lead X features. We do not make a customer's account history, billing details, or private dashboard data available to other customers through normal product operation.

We do not sell or share account-level personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If applicable law gives you a right to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or use of a business-contact record, use our privacy request form.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We may share information with vendors and processors that help us operate the service, including hosting providers, database providers, data or API providers, email providers, analytics providers, support tools, security tools, and payment processors.

We may also disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, government request, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, property, users, the public, or the security and integrity of the service.

If Local Lead X is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, asset sale, reorganization, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Third-Party Services and Sources

Local Lead X may integrate with third-party services, including external data and API providers. Those third parties may process data according to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites, APIs, data sources, enrichment providers, or external services that we do not control.

7. Legal Bases and Compliance

Where applicable, we process personal information based on one or more legal bases, including performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, compliance with legal obligations, fraud prevention, security, and business operations. Users are responsible for ensuring their use of exported lead data complies with all applicable laws, including privacy, marketing, email, telemarketing, anti-spam, consumer protection, and data broker laws.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of certain personal information. You may also have rights to opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or marketing communications.

To make a request, use our privacy request form. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. We may retain limited information where legally permitted for security, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, compliance, backups, and suppression of future use.

9. Data Retention

We retain account information while an account is active and afterward as reasonably needed for support, security, accounting, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and enforcement. We aim to retain operational logs for no longer than needed for those purposes and to retain transaction records as required by law. Business records may be retained in our internal database for quality and product operations, subject to verified deletion or opt-out requests and applicable law. We are implementing a documented retention and deletion schedule before broad self-serve promotion.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials, API keys, and account access secure.

11. Children

Local Lead X is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. International Use

Local Lead X may be operated from the United States and may process information in the United States or other countries. By using the service, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your location.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of Local Lead X after changes means you accept the updated policy.
